This is a really stunning, custom made folding Bowie knife. It is about as fancy as they come. It is a real heirloom piece! When open it is almost 12 inches long. When folded it is about 6.25 inches. The handles are made from beautiful hand buffed Mammoth bone - harvested from Alaska and Mother of Pearl. It sits beautifully in the hand. This is a really beautiful hand built, nicely balanced full tang 'woodlore clone' bushcraft knife. It is razor sharp and there isn't much it cant do. It has a genuine 'zero edge' scandi grind blade that is easy to keep sharp with just a couple of licks with a hone or a strop. The overall length is 9.25 inches. The blade is 4.25 inches and is made of the finest Damascus steel - 57-59RC. Is has exquisite filework to the spine - with 'leaping salmon' on the underside of the handle - all done with a jewellers file by hand. The handle is fine Walnut burl. The sheath is hand made and very heavy duty. This is a really nice hand made knife that with care should last a life time and will amaze you when you receive it. It is simply awesome!
